Fin X, the commerce society of Delhi Public School Indirapuram, celebrateda revitalizing edition of its Commerce Fest on 8th May’ 2019. The event began with an inspiring speech by the school principal Mrs Sangeeta Hajela. In her address she highlighted that good management strategies are needed in every aspect of life. She stressed on many qualities to be inculcated by the young minds like Potentiality, Passion, Thoughts, Self Confidence, Good Communication Skills and Good Leadership Skills.

The principal’s address was followed by presentations made by several successful alumnus of the school. Apurva Sharma, the commerce topper of batch of 2016, delivered an enlightening presentation on a brief insight into the different career options and opportunities after Baccalaureate. Ishan Kapur, a young leader venturing into his own startup motivated several students by sharing with them a vision of excellence that goes beyond marks and academic limitations.

The fest featured diverse events like Memonics, Find my Funding, Tabula: Ad Enactments, a mock Stock Trading event Bulls and Bears as its highlights amongst several others. These events encouraged students not only to learn to manage things on their own but also supplement their professional development in understanding the subjects involved with better clarity.The fest was successful in its aim of inspiring students and building new age leaders by bringing the best minds to devise creative and innovative thinking. It truly would go a long way in creating entrepreneurial leaders of tomorrow.
