The tiny tots of DPS Indirapuram gave tribute to the unsung heroes of our motherland through a presentation – “The Real Heroes” on 13th Feb, 2020. The program showcasing the valour, courage and commitment of three defence forces of India the Army, Navy and Air Force was an endeavour to instill patriotism and a sense of national pride in the little ones and sensitize them towards the sacrifices made by our soldiers for the security and safety of our nation.

The program was presided over by the school Principal Ms. Sangeeta Hajela as the chief guest and the Vice-Principal Ms. Priya John. The program opened with the school choir singing “HUM RAAHI HAIN, HUM SAATHI HAIN” followed by sterling enactments by the little ones who proudly presented “The Real Heroes” through skits and dances.

It was an amazing experience to see all the budding artists act with such enthusiasm and finesse. The program ended on a musical note with all the participants performing on “Shabaashiyan”. The whole presentation aroused patriotic fervour in the children as well as the audience.
