ONE WORLD ONE DREAM

DPS Indirapuram held the Annual Day for Classes I and II on 18th and 19th Feburary 2020. The cultural extravaganza, One Dream One World was a beautiful manifestation of talent by the young children who participated in it with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The first day of the cultural fiesta commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and welcome address by the school Principal, Mrs. Sangeeta Hajela. She hailed the day as an earnest expression of hope, aspirations and optimism for a world united by love, peace and harmony. She also emphasized the school’s endeavours to nurture within each child, the strength, patience and passion to reach for the stars and change the world.

The extravaganza began on a musical note with the harmonious symphonies and rhythm of the ‘World Orchestra’ adding magic to the air followed by a melodic rendition by the Indian Music Choir. Thereafter, the stage dazzled with some electrifying dance performances. The magical blend of mudras and postures in the graceful classical dance form of Bharatnatyam, the expression of joy and happiness displayed in the Japanese dance, performed on the sonorous soundtrack ‘Sakura’ and the vibrant Flamenco and Salsa moves held the audience spellbound. The high on energy Gymnastics performance was a wonderful display of flexibility, balance, power and grace while the braveheart skaters captivated the audience with their speed and agility,

holding forth the message that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

The second day of the show ‘One World One Dream’ was graced by Mrs. Santosh Bansal, Pro Vice Chairperson DPS Indirapuram. The School Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Hajela accorded a warm welcome to the esteemed guest and parents who had gathered to witness the show.
