5th International of Yoga Day Celebration

DPS Indirapuram celebrated the 5^th International Day of Yoga on Friday 21^st June, 2019 with an invigorating yoga session that saw an enthusiastic participation of faculty and staff.

The session that lasted an hour was conducted in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol under the close supervision of yoga teachers who demonstrated various asanas and postures while highlighting the benefits of the same.

The session concluded with the address of the Pro-Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Santosh Bansal, an ardent practitioner of Yoga. She extended greetings to the staff members on the occasion of International Yoga Day and described it as a moment to feel proud of India’s heritage of yoga, which is acknowledged and acclaimed across the globe. She also highlighted the wide range of health benefits - both physical and mental, the yoga helps people achieve.

The school Principal proposed the Vote of Thanks and thanked everyone for their presence and participation and making the event a grand success.
