SCHOOL TRANSPORT

Students can avail the School Transport subject to the availability of seats. The parents should consult the School Transport Incharge for necessary details. Kindly note that the school is known for its academic operations first and thus the Transport facility is not the core, but a supportive function. Availing Bus facility, of course, is not mandatory.

Bus Rules

1. All students using the school bus facility are expected to be at the designated bus stops at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus. The buses will not wait for the late comers.
2. The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stop only, unless otherwise directed by the bus teacher.
3. The list of stops is prepared in view of the convenience and safety of majority of all bus commuters and other important parameters.
4. The children should safely stay away from the main road till the bus arrives. Kindly encourage your children to follow safe boarding & travelling habits.
5. All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their buses and remain seated till it is time & place for them to de-board. The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.
6. No student should come near the entry door of the bus unless it has come to a complete stop.
7. When the bus is in motion, students must not move around in the bus and no part of their body should be outside the bus. They must adhere to the instructions given by the Bus Incharge, at all times.
8. Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus; nor should any object be thrown from one seat to another. No student is allowed to eat in the bus.
9. Passing comments on the passers-by or purchase of sundry objects at the red-lights is strictly prohibited. Strict disciplinary actions will be taken again students found guilty.
10. Students will be held responsible for any damage to a bus caused by negligence or vandalism. A fine and disciplinary action is liable to be taken in case of vandalism.
11. Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. The driver’s attention must not be distracted for any reason.
12. The bus teacher, and student-bus-monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the Principal.
13. Students must mind their language and speak courteously while travelling.
14. Parents are requested to mail the Transport Department for Allotment/ Withdrawal/Change of Bus routes at transport@dpsindirapuram.com. Bus facility will be confirmed based on the availability of the same.  
15. Students who do not use school buses are called Private Commuting children. Parents are completely responsible for their child’s safety beyond the school boundaries. School will not take any responsibility of the child once he/she leaves the school premises.
16. Transport Fee is charged for the eleven and a half months in each academic session, but is divided/distributed over twelve months.
17. Transport fee is charged on quarterly basis and it is non-refundable and non-transferable.Any parent wish to opt for the transport facility must take an informed decision accordingly.
18. Withdrawal of school transport facility is only after one complete quarter and not in between. Withdrawals in between will be liable to pay for the complete quarterly charges. 
19. School Transport Department ensures that every application is considered for the transport facility, however, it is at complete discretion of the school transport department to reject any application without assigning any reason for the same.
20. Bus stops are decided after a complete survey and detail analysis of the route. No stops can change or amend in between the session. Parent must check thoroughly before applying for the school transport facility.
