DPS Indirapuram Organizes Investiture Ceremony

Delhi Public School Indirapuram held its Investiture Ceremony for the Senior School with great fervour on 31^st July, 2018. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Abhishek Bansal Member, Managing Committee, DPS Indirapuram. The other guests who graced the occasion were Ms. Seema Kaur, Principal Pacific World School and parents of the appointees. 

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the guests. The school Principal Ms. Meeta Rai welcomed the guests and the proud parents. She congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council and urged them to take up their responsibilities with utmost dedication and commitment, reiterating that the day was one of pledges and promises to be undertaken with sincerity. She further motivated the students with an inspirational recitation of ‘A Psalm of life’ exhorting them to lead by their example and be a role model for all.

A scintillating presentation by the school dance troupe reinforcing the power of passionate pursuit of goals followed. The school appointees and House appointees left the audience in awe as they marched smartly on the stage to receive their badges of honour from the Chief Guest Mr. Abhishek Bansal and the school Principal Mrs. Meeta Rai. The Head Boy (Academics) Jasjeev Singh, Head Boy (Cultural) Shresth Goel, and Head Girl (Academics) Pratishtha Goel and Head Girl (Cultural) Aayushi Saxena along with all the other school appointees took an oath to uphold the banner of the school and discharge their duties with honesty and commitment.

The school toppers of the CBSE Class XII Boards Examination 2018 were also felicitated for their exemplary performance. On this occasion the Chief Guest Mr. Abhishek Bansal and the school Principal Mrs. Meeta Rai congratulated the school toppers and awarded them with at token of appreciation. 

In his address, the Chief Guest, Mr. Abhishek Bansal urged the budding leaders to discharge their duties with honesty and determination and exhibit the leadership value of courage. Mr. Bansal also lauded the efforts of the school Principal Mrs. Meeta Rai and exhorted the students to look upto her as an embodiment of courage, determination and diligence.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by the school Vice Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Hajela.
