Our Nation Our Pride Independence Day Special Assembly (Nursery)

A special assembly was conducted to mark the 73rd Independence Day by the Nursery children in the school premises with much enthusiasm and fanfare. The School Principal Ms. Sangeeta Hajela presided over the function. The assembly commenced with a prayer to invoke the blessings of the almighty. Ayaan Pal, greeted the assembly and spoke about the significance of this historical day followed by Lavanya, who spoke about the National Flag and National Emblem. Avishaa of Nursery K dressed as Jhansi ki Rani enacted her roles in an emphatic and confident manner. Keeping alive the flame of patriotism, patriotic poems by Kritin Joshi, Himaksh and Nihit Lohani were much appreciated. Koshish karne waalon ki delivered by Anahi Prakash was also a highlight of the Assembly. The Nursery choir presented a beautiful patriotic song. An enthralling group dance was performed by the tiny tots which further kindled the feelings of patriotism and mesmerised the audience. The School Principal Ms. Sangeeta Hajela addressed the children and emphasised the importance of being worthy citizens. She applauded the efforts of all the children who participated in the assembly. The assembled children stood in attention for the pledge and National anthem to conclude the proceedings.
